Is a website worth it for a small local business?
For most local businesses, yes. A website is usually the cheapest way to be found by people actively searching for what you offer, and it works around the clock without you. It builds trust before a customer ever calls, answers common questions so you field fewer, and captures enquiries you’d otherwise lose to competitors. The main exception is a business already at full capacity with no growth ambitions — but even then, a simple site protects you against a competitor taking your searches.
